06. Blade (1998)
A lot of people credit the X-Men with the current revitalization of comic book movies but really it was Blade that did it. Based on a Tomb of Dracula character, Blade tells the story of a half-human half-vampire who is all kick ass. Wesley Snipes punches, kicks and shoots his way through the film, handing vampires their asses in all kinds of different ways. If Blade stopped at just being an awesome action movie that would be fine but it is also funny and well acted with a surprising amount of depth. Sure, the story is kind of standard but there are a lot of details and special touches that make the universe feel bigger. You get a sense that there is a lot of intrigue and mystery in the vampire world and it makes the viewer hungry for more. Luckily, the sequel, which some argue surpasses the original, is awesome and further expands. The third movie is kind of terrible and is only worth watching for Ryan Reynolds. There was even a series which was criminally short lived. Once you get used to having Blade recast it is a pretty good show and I hate that it was canceled after only one season. The first film is the foundation for all of it and is exceptional for how wonderfully it nailed the source material.

Okay, so I was almost to the bottom of the “vampire” list and I was like, “Where the hell is the Lost Boys.”
I almost had a stroke.

You can also use midi controllers on certains phones, and you
can load your own sounds and samples in WAV or Soundfont format.
It’s all being done on a consumer and a grass-roots basis but I think some of the options that are available in
usable technologies can be brought here and the DVC30 was one of those.
Not all mp3 player decor will work with the next brand.
