Patrick's 10 Favorite Vampire and Werewolf Movies

TOP 10 FAVORITE WEREWOLF MOVIES

10. An American Werewolf in Paris (1997)

There is a lot of hate for this sequel to An American Werewolf in London but I like it. Starring Tom Everett Scott as Andy, the movie follows three friends out on a European tour in search of crazy stunts to pull off. In the middle of one such stunt, bungie jumping off the Eiffel Tower, Andy saves a girl (Julie Delpy) from committing suicide and lands himself in the hospital. Andy becomes obsessed with finding the girl, who unbeknownst to him, and anyone who didn’t read pre-release material for the movie, is the daughter of David and Alex from the original film and thus a werewolf. He tracks her down to a night club and inadvertently gets bitten by a werewolf and becomes embroiled in all manner of intrigue involving a serum that allows werewolves to change at will. Yeah it is really silly but it has some things going for it. It has a good sense of humor like the original and features pretty good special effects for featuring CGI werewolves. The gore is there and the performances are solid enough. Here is the thing, I saw on Christmas day 1997 right after crying my way through Titanic earlier in the day due to having been freshly broken up with. Seeing this movie really cheered me up and I enjoyed the silly goofiness and like it despite its flaws.

  1. Okay, so I was almost to the bottom of the “vampire” list and I was like, “Where the hell is the Lost Boys.”

    I almost had a stroke.

    Best soundtrack, EVER.

    God.

    1 lost boys

also I was going to be furious about Silver Bullet not being higher until I saw Brotherhood of the Wolf. Good Call.

  3. You can also use midi controllers on certains phones, and you
can load your own sounds and samples in WAV or Soundfont format.
It’s all being done on a consumer and a grass-roots basis but I think some of the options that are available in
usable technologies can be brought here and the DVC30 was one of those.
Not all mp3 player decor will work with the next brand.
