World of Tanks is a insanely popular free to play PC title that is about to launch for free (gold membership required) on Xbox Live in the US and Canada this summer. This game  combines the MMO and FPS elements with the steel behemoths that tread all over Europe, Africa and Asia during World War II. There are many different classes of tanks from long range shelling to The Maus, a mammoth tank and one of Germany’s largest and heaviest contributions of the war.

You spawn with one life until the round is over, so even though you are driving a tank you need to be cautious not to loose a tread or go into battle too soon. This should be a great contribution to the XBL experience but be slightly wary while being ‘free to play’ in game purchases are available.
